Introducing “Mare Nubium”

I’m fortunate to have creative friends. And, one in particular has recently set several of my poems to his original music (Thank you, Rene!). We’re calling our collaborative duo, Mare Nubium. Download, listen, share, comment (with or without a cup of tea)! We’re pleased you’re here to share the fruit of our efforts and hope you’ll enjoy these unique ambient and electronic musical tracks…

While Queen Anne’s intricate whites she weaves…

Best wishes to you and yours during this Thanksgiving weekend.

“While Queen Anne’s intricate whites she weaves
Then unravels her lace as if it were seed
Shaking threads to meadow’s gusty wilt
Golds turn amber sprouting autumn silk”
- Rhonda Arnold / Expectant Night, excerpt

Personal Libraries of the Rich & Famous…

The media and e-reader advertisers would have us think that people don’t even LIKE print books anymore, and we KNOW that isn’t true! And, it’s fairly certain the rich and famous aren’t abandoning their personal libraries because of the digital era, especially when said sanctuaries are as individualized and aesthetically wonderful as the examples culled by Book Riot. See inside such marvelous literary havens as those belonging to Keith Richards, Woody Allen, Julia Child, Sting, G.W. Vanderbilt’s Biltmore House (the largest privately owned home in the US), and more. I’m sure you’ll find a least one cozy nook that appeals…
